2017 Road Construction Plans
2017 construction season is upon us. The plan, weather
permitting and depending on crew availability, is to complete
the final layer of asphalt in the Rolling Heights Subdivision on
Dartmouth Drive, Harvard Lane, Radcliff Road from Dartmouth
Drive to the end of Franzoi Park, Yale Lane and Vassar Lane.
Glenview Drive will be pulverized and paved.
Fury Lane will be milled and receive a layer of asphalt.

will be pulverized and paved, total estimated cost for these projects is
There is no crack sealing or chip sealing planned for 2017 due to budget constraints.
Sunrise Bay Road and Hunters Point Road will not be reconstructed in the 2017 season.
Letters were mailed to property owners in the road construction area.
Seeking a Volunteer for Town of Neenah Plan Commission
The Town Board is seeking a volunteer to fill the vacancy on
our Plan Commission. The Plan Commission is made up of
seven members who meet on the third Monday of each month
to review all land use planning aspects for the Town of
Neenah. Some of the items discussed include Certified Survey
Maps (CSM’s), Zoning Map Amendments, the Comprehensive
Plan plus others items as requested, The Commission makes a
recommendation to the Town Board for further action on the
requests. There are also opportunities to meet and network
with neighboring communities to discuss planning issues.
Educational materials and training is available, and our
current Plan Commissioners are very knowledgeable to help
along the way. The only qualifications necessary are you must
be a Town of Neenah property owner, have the desire to
become involved in your community, learn about planning and
land use, and learn more about your Town of Neenah.

Geese Fun Facts: The female goose will build a nest and line it with down plucked from her body. She will lay one egg each day until the full clutch of about 5 eggs is obtained. After all the eggs are laid, she will sit on her nest to incubate the eggs, which takes about 28-30 days. Canada geese fly at an average speed of about 40 miles per hour when migrating, but may increase their speed to 70 miles per hour if they catch a strong tailwind. Migrations can be as long as 2,000 to 3,000 miles, and the geese are capable of flying up to 1,500 miles in a single day if the weather is good
What is Open Book?
Open Book is a period of time that the records and assessor are available to the residents. Property owners can ask questions regarding how assessment was determined and check that characteristics of the property are correct. Minor errors and misunderstandings can often be easily corrected at the Open Book session.
What if I don’t agree with my assessment?
If after meeting with assessor at Open Book, you still think the assessment is incorrect, you may appeal to the Board of Review. Notify the clerk of your intention to file an objection and complete the required form. The Clerk will schedule a time for you to meet with the Board of Review.
