The Fire Department is accepting applications for individuals interested in serving the community in the role of a Paid-on-Call Firefighter.

TNFD responds to approximately 180 emergency calls each year for a wide variety of situations, including vehicle accidents, brush and structure fires, ice and water rescues, natural gas leaks, carbon monoxide alarms as well as commercial building alarms. In addition, a number of our firefighters also function as First Responders and assist with a wide variety of emergency medical situations.

The Fire Department will provide all of the necessary training and protective equipment that you will need to safely and effectively perform your duties. Each firefighter is compensated for training hours, emergency calls, staff meetings, and work details around the fire station. On average, our firefighters will earn $1,500 per year.

If you have an interest in helping others and making a difference in challenging situations, we look forward to meeting you to see how you can become a valuable member of our team.
