Tornado Storm Debris & Cleanup Update
The Town of Neenah is wrapping up vegetative branch and brush cleanup following the July 27th tornado. Curbside tree debris pickup will officially end on Friday, August 21, 2026.
As of today, storm recovery expenses for the Town of Neenah are estimated to exceed $500,000 in unbudgeted expenses.
Disposal Options for Remaining Debris
- Vegetative Yard Waste & Tree Materials
- Winnebago County Landfill or Outagamie County Landfill
- Acceptance depends on the size and volume of your material. Please consult facility websites directly for details on size restrictions, hours, and tipping fees.
- Other Debris & Household Items
Property owners are responsible for disposing of all other materials—including small branches, dirt piles, stone, chipped wood, construction materials, docks, and damaged household items. Recommended disposal options include:
- County Landfills: Drop off at the Winnebago County or Outagamie County facilities.
- Harter’s Fox Valley Disposal: Contact directly to arrange large-item pickup (additional fees apply).
- Private Contractors: Hire a local waste or haul-away service.
