MUNICIPAL TOWN HALL TO FOCUS ON TORNADO RECOVERY

SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY EVENING, AUGUST 6, 2026 AT MENASHA HIGH SCHOOL 

 A community town hall focused on tornado recovery will be Thursday, August 6, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Menasha High School, 420 Seventh Street in Menasha.

Residents will have an opportunity to hear updates about recovery operations, available resources, cleanup efforts, and what to expect moving forward.

They will also be able to ask questions and share their concerns with community leaders and staff.

Leaders and representatives from municipalities and agencies involved in the tornado response and recovery have been invited to participate.

City of Menasha Mayor Austin Hammond, City of Neenah Mayor Brian Borchardt, Village of Fox Crossing Manager Jeff Sturgell, Town of Neenah Chairman Bob Schmeichel, Menasha Joint School District Superintendent Dan Slowey, and Winnebago County Executive Gordon Hintz will be in attendance.
