The mission of the Clerk-Treasurer's office is to serve our residents, elected Town Officials and the public in the most friendly, efficient and cost-effective manner possible.
The Town Clerk-Treasurer office is responsible for management of town records, election administration, legal notification to the public, issuance of licenses, human resources, provides administrative support to Town Board, Commissions, Committees and other town departments, is responsible for financial matters such as accounts payable and receivable, billing and collection, cash management and property tax collection for the general fund.

Ellen Skerke - Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer
Ellen joined the Town of Neenah in June 2013 as Clerk-Treasurer. As of January 1, 2021, she became the Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer. She currently serves as Secretary-Treasurer for the Wisconsin Towns Association Winnebago County Unit.
Professional
Ellen graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She passed the CPA exam and worked as a Cost Accountant for an electronics manufacturing company before taking time off to raise her children. After moving to Neenah, Ellen worked for the non-profit organization Future Neenah for 18 years as their Accountant.
Personal
Ellen has been married to Ed for 36 years. They moved to Neenah 27 years ago and raised their two children. Her hobbies include cooking and quilting.

Kerri Komorowski - Deputy Clerk Treasurer
Kerri joined the Town of Neenah on May 27, 2025 and officially began her role as Deputy Clerk - Treasurer.
Professional
Kerri attended the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac and Fox Valley Technical College. She has recently passed her exam as a Certified Public Notary. Prior to joining the Town of Neenah, she worked as an Administrative Clerk for the Town of Grand Chute and has experience in healthcare as a Medical Health Information Specialist At St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Appleton.
Her diverse background includes experience in business. She has held roles as a Loan & title Specialist, Auditor, Certified Nurse Aide, and a legal secretary assistant. After moving back to Appleton in 2017, she worked at Valley Eye Optical as a Frame Specialist and an Optician assistant. Kerri also gained experience in automotive industry. Additionally, she worked at two salvage yards in the Neenah/Appleton area.
Personal
Kerri hails from a large family from her mother's side in Mellen, a small town in the northern woods of Wisconsin. Kerri was born in Rhinelander--the home of the legendary Hodag--and later moved to Fond du Lac, where she lived until graduating from high school. She raised her son, Giuseppe (Joey), in the suburbs of Milwaukee and Fond du Lac area.
Kerri enjoys an active lifestyle. Her hobbies include golfing, volleyball, camping, boating, cards, attending concerts and sporting events (especially Packers & Brewers games), beach outings, and traveling.
Kerri is exited to serve the residents of the Town of Neenah and welcomes everyone to stop in and say Hello! 🙂
